Stafford Park - Stafford Twp, NJ
Construction has begun on Herschman Architects' first LEED registered shopping center. Each of the five tenants are pursuing certification of the LEED-NC v2.2 building rating system. This project will significantly reduce the impact on the environment by utilizing an existing brownfield site within a densely populated area, reducing water and energy usage, generating renewable energy from roof-mounted photovoltaic panels, diverting construction waste from local landfills, utilizing local materials with recycled content and many more innovative sustainable design strategies. Indoor air quality will be enhanced by increased ventilation, using low-emitting materials and controlling chemicals and pollutants. [ BACK ]
